      Shipping Service updates due to COVID-19 Outbreak

      E78 Shop still tries the best to provide safety and fast global shipping in COVID-19 outbreak. We have different carriers and shipping service to our customers. Customers can choose the service in our check out page.

      Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, some carriers experiencing delays; mail to certain countries suspended due to new border restrictions. Please check the Courier Service Updates below:

      Hong Kong Post

      Operational, but experiencing delays; mail to certain countries suspended due to new border restrictions.

       

      Many services suspended due to reduction or cancellation of passenger flights. All remaining services and destinations expected to be delayed.

      Signature-on-delivery services suspended for countries with this policy in place (includes Australia, Italy, South Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand).

      Many route suspensions throughout Africa, South America, and parts of Europe and Asia.

      DHL

       

      Status: Fully operational except for delays in cases of local government restrictions. Have applied temporary emergency surcharges.

      DHL is mobilizing Business Continuity plans to ensure that deliveries continue to be made. Top management is meeting each day to navigate the pandemic's swift evolution and daily hurdles. The carrier is ensuring that they follow all international and local government health protocols.

      From 25th of March, they have added a temporary emergency surcharge to each shipment. This pricing is already reflected for new shipments made on the shipping price.

      FedEx

       

      Status: Still Delivering within impacted areas as local conditions and restrictions allow.

      FedEx Announcement: April 16, 2020

      As the impact of the coronavirus outbreak sweeps across the world, the movement of goods, to and from impacted areas, is subject to local and international restrictions. As a result, FedEx business operations are being continuously adapted (as outlined below) to adhere to all regulations and guidelines from government authorities and to mitigate potential impacts.

      Global Suspension of Money Back Guarantee

      On March 24, FedEx suspended its global Money Back Guarantee for all FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground®, FedEx Freight®, and FedEx Office services until further notice.

      Delivery Updates

      As a result of government restrictions and supply chain disruptions, some FedEx service operations have been affected for certain impacted areas.

      Signature Delivery Updates

      To follow social distancing guidelines from the World Health Organization’s, FedEx has temporarily stopped requiring in-person signatures for most package deliveries in the US except for shipments with adult signature required. Services with change in signature protocols include

      • FedEx Express (U.S. and Canada)
      • FedEx Ground (U.S. and Canada)
      • FedEx Freight (U.S)
      • FedEx same-day city service (U.S)
      • FedEx Office stores and on-site locations at various U.S. retailers.

      Business Operation Updates

      For the health and safety of delivery staff and customers alike, FedEx has temporarily updated its retail location operating hours and available services.

      Surcharges on Shipments

      Effective April 6, 2020, FedEx and its subsidiary TNT International have instituted a temporary surcharge on all FedEx Express international (parcel as well as freight) because of limited air cargo capacity.

      FedEx surcharges will remain in effect until further notice. FedEx temporary peak surcharge rates are per pound or per kilo.

      UPS

       

      Status: Fully operational except where constrained by government restrictions; waiving signature-on-delivery service in some countries.

      1. UPS has been deemed to be critical infrastructure by the Department of Homeland Security and is continuing to operate throughout the US, including in rural and restricted areas.
      2. UPS stores across the US remain open - you're advised to check operating hours before going.
      3. From March 24, UPS is suspending its Service Guarantee for all US-origin shipments (for both domestic and international services).
      4. Signature-on-delivery has been suspended within the US and for international shipments except for Adult Signature Required (ASR) services.

      SF-express

       

      Status: Mostly operational but facing delays into China. Have applied temporary emergency surcharges. Services to India are suspended. Economy Express services suspended to some destinations. Local service is fully operational except for little delays.

      1. Increased safety procedures in China are seeing an increase in delivery times.
      2. To cover costs of increased safety requirements, SF Express are applying temporary emergency surcharges for Economy Express and Standard Express services. These prices are currently reflected in the e78 checkout page.
      3. Services to India have been temporarily suspended.
      4. Some Economy Express services have been suspended.
      5. Have temporarily suspended pickup from home businesses (residential addresses) in Singapore due to circuit breaker rules. Delivery to residential addresses have not been impacted.

      Have applied a temporary emergency surcharge for all new shipments going to Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau. This pricing is already being reflected on the our platform.
