      e78 Shop Refund, Return & Warranty Policy

      1. General Return Policy (7-Day Rule) Our general return policy lasts 7 days from the date of receipt. If 7 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a general return, the issue must be caused by our negligence (e.g., sent the wrong item or incorrect size). The item must be strictly brand new, unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all factory tags attached.

      2. Strictly Non-Returnable & Exempt Items To ensure fairness and maintain the highest product quality for all customers, the following items and situations are strictly exempt from our 7-day return/exchange policy:

      • Customized / Modified Goods: Any badminton or tennis rackets that have been strung (stringing service applied) are considered customized goods and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances.

      • In-Store Pickup Cosmetic Agreement: For customers picking up orders at our physical store, you are required to thoroughly inspect the cosmetic condition of the goods (e.g., paint, frame) before leaving the premises. Once the goods leave our store, any subsequent claims regarding cosmetic damage (scratches, paint chips, etc.) will not be accepted.

      • Removal of Original Wrapping: Rackets with the plastic shrink wrap removed from the handle, or goods with cut/removed factory tags.

      • Subjective Expectations: "Flawed goods" do not include variations in color, or goods that simply do not meet your personal expectations or imagination.

      • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded or exchanged. All sale/clearance items are final sale and non-refundable.

      • Food, Gift cards, Downloadable software products, and personal care items.

      3. Manufacturer Quality Inspection & Warranty Claims If you suspect a product has a manufacturing defect after use, we can assist you in sending the item back to the original manufacturer for an official quality inspection, provided it strictly meets the brands' warranty conditions:

      • Valid Warranty Period & Categories: Warranty claims must be made within the brand's specified timeframe from the date of purchase, which varies by product category:

        • Badminton Rackets: YONEX covers within 3 months, while VICTOR covers within 6 months.

        • Badminton Shoes: Covered within 1 month from the date of purchase.

        • Apparel / Clothing: Generally, there is no warranty for apparel items.

        • Other Products: Warranty periods vary. Please inquire with us directly for details.

        • Claims past these periods will not be accepted.

      • Exclusion of Human-Caused Damage: Manufacturer warranties DO NOT cover any man-made damage, accidental damage, or improper usage. This includes, but is not limited to: cosmetic scratches, paint chips from clashes, frame breakage due to hitting the floor/partners' rackets, or improper stringing by third parties.

      • Strict "Do Not Cut Strings" Rule: If a racket frame breaks or cracks after being strung, DO NOT cut the strings. Cutting the strings releases the tension and destroys the evidence of the breakage point, which will result in the manufacturer rejecting your warranty claim immediately.

      • Pre-Screening & Shipping Costs: If you cannot bring the defective item to our physical store, you must send us clear photos of the damaged area for a preliminary review first. If the item is eligible to be sent to the factory, all shipping costs (including overseas return shipping) must be fully borne by the customer.

      The manufacturer's inspection report and decision are absolutely final. e78 shop acts only as an intermediary. We will not override the manufacturer's decision, nor will we provide a store refund or exchange if the manufacturer determines the issue is not a quality defect.

      4. Exchanges & Refunds (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective upon arrival, or due to a sizing issue (Allowed to exchange 1 time only. Goods must be completely unused). Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

      5. Shipping Instructions for Returns Please mail your product to: E78 SHOP, Flat E 9/F Success Ind. Bldg, 17 SHEUNG HEI ST, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR. Overseas customers must email us the reason first. You will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. We take no responsibility for any damage or missing items caused during transportation.
